A tragic incident has unfolded in Faisalabad’s Madina Town, where a 17-year-old girl, Saba Bibi, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. According to the FIR filed by her father, she used to sell flowers from D Ground to Susan Road. He alleged that a rickshaw driver named Jeela would take her to work and drop her home at night. She had previously complained about his suspicious behavior, claiming he allowed unknown boys to ride with him and played loud music while roaming unnecessarily.
On the night of February 3-4, Saba went out for work with her brother. Later, Jeela dropped both siblings home around 3 AM. However, Saba was in a semi-conscious state, stumbling as she entered the house. Before losing consciousness, she revealed that her coworker, Roshi, had taken her in Jeela’s rickshaw, where three other suspects—Rizwan, Rakha, and Thatha—were already present. They allegedly forced her to consume an unknown substance, causing her to pass out.
The next morning, when the family tried to wake her up at noon, they found her lifeless. The father has accused the suspects of murder. Police have registered a case under Sections 302, 147, and 149 PPC and initiated an investigation.
