Aleema Khan, the outspoken sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has vowed to take her brother’s legal battles to the international stage after what she calls an inability to receive justice in Pakistan. Speaking after a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Aleema revealed that despite his imprisonment, Imran Khan remains fully in control of PTI. She strongly defended PTI leader Salman Akram Raja, who has faced harsh criticism within the party, highlighting that Raja has simply followed the instructions of the PTI founder.
Aleema further quoted Imran Khan’s frustration with the lack of progress in his legal cases, specifically the £190 million reference, calling out the delayed judgment in the case. With the Pakistani courts unwilling to listen to their plea, Imran Khan has no choice but to turn to international institutions for a resolution. Is this the beginning of a new chapter in PTI’s fight for justice on the global stage?
