Imagine a Karachi where every young person has the skills to build apps, secure networks, and work with AI. That’s exactly what Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori envisions as he pushes forward his initiative to provide free IT courses to the city’s youth.
Speaking at an event, Tessori made it clear: the future is digital, and Pakistan’s youth must be prepared to take on the world. “We have so much talent, but many youngsters don’t get the opportunities they deserve. That’s why we’re offering free IT courses—to bridge that gap and empower them with real skills,” he said.
The program isn’t just about theory—it covers hands-on training in software development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and even freelancing. The goal? To turn Karachi into a tech powerhouse where young professionals don’t just look for jobs but create them.
Thousands of students have already enrolled, and the response has been overwhelming. “I always wanted to learn coding, but I couldn’t afford expensive courses. This initiative gave me a chance to follow my dream,” shared Ali Raza, a 22-year-old participant.
Governor Tessori urged the youth to seize this opportunity, emphasizing that Pakistan’s digital future is in their hands. “This isn’t just about learning IT—it’s about changing lives,” he said.
With efforts like these, Karachi is on its way to becoming a true technology hub, where innovation and ambition go hand in hand.
