Lula Criticizes U.S. Plan to Control Gaza -Practically Incomprehensible

News

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has strongly criticized the U.S. plan, announced by former President Donald Trump, to assume control of Gaza. Speaking to radio stations in Minas Gerais, Lula questioned the logic of the move, highlighting America’s involvement in supporting Israel’s actions in the region. He condemned the devastation in Gaza as “genocide” and argued that the Palestinian people should be the ones to rebuild their homeland. According to Lula, the priority should be reparations for the destruction of homes, hospitals, and schools, rather than foreign occupation. His remarks add to the global debate on Gaza’s future governance and reconstruction.
